Normally, the job is managed by a project manager, and supervised by a construction managerdesign engineerconstruction engineer or project architect.

Construction projects may last according to the complexity of the job at hand. It begins with intensive planning where the design engineers, construction engineers, project engineers, project architect and the project manager must create a plan together detailing how they will be building the infrastructure. It must be decided from the start their actions so as to avoid confusion during the actual building process.
A construction budget must also be followed when building. A budget is the amount set to be used on the project. It is managed by the project manager who divides the budget accordingly between human workers and the materials to be used in the building.
